Cardboard Coffins

Cardboard was the original "green coffin" but design has come a long way since then.
These coffins are made from recycled cardboard with a biodegradable print, 6 strong rope handles and can carry up to 25 stone.
Some cardboard coffins have woodchip bases or plastic linings, but not these. They come in a traditional style (as in the pictures below) or square box shape, and with a
variety of finishes; there are now three sizes available - 5'8", 6' or 6'7". The Pictorial coffin range has images printed over all 4 sides and the lid, and appeals to people's differing interests, and there is also the option of having your own bespoke design made up with your own photos. Below are a few examples of the many designs available, and they can be sent straight to your Funeral Director. |

The Standard Coffin ranges from the simple Brown Economy, to the White, which is often used by families to add their own hand-drawn or written decorations; there are also various printed colours such as the Dark Oak pictured here. |
