Here at Brocklands
    .  .  .  we provide burials for people from all walks of life in a completely natural way. This means that (as far as possible) nothing artificial is put into or onto the ground, thus preserving and enhancing the landscape and ecology. Trees and native wildflowers are planted on the graves and the burial ground is already growing into a small woodland, embracing the theme of 'life from death', and serving as a living memory to those buried there.

Set in the beautiful Ribble Valley in the Yorkshire Dales, Brocklands is one of the country's pioneering First Generation green burial sites, having opened in 2000. It attracts those who love walking, wildlife and all manner of outdoor activities, as well as those who have lived and had holidays in the area.
